1. 9Round is Kickboxing Fitness

Looking for a unique addition to your fitness routine? 9Round’s kickboxing-themed workouts are designed to make you stronger, both physically and mentally, in just 30 minutes. Don't worry—you won't be getting hit. Instead, you'll punch and kick your way through stress and extra calories in each killer workout.

2. Our Workouts are Circuit-Based

You've probably heard that 9Round doesn't have class times. That's because our workouts run on a circuit. Every 3 minutes, a new round begins. Once you're a member, you can start your workout whenever you want. Throughout the session, you'll complete nine different stations with a 30-second active break in between. Each round offers new and challenging exercises, making the 30 minutes fly by and leaving you sweaty and smiling at the end.

3. Dress the Part

Our kickboxing workouts are intense, so wearing the right clothes is essential. Make sure you come prepared with comfortable athletic clothes and shoes. You'll need gear that’s easy to move in as you'll be kicking, punching, and jumping. Supportive athletic shoes with good ankle support are also a must.

4. A Champion Trainer is Always Included

At 9Round, you’ll never be left wondering what to do. A Champion Trainer is always there to guide and motivate you throughout the entire workout. They'll encourage you and find ways to amp up your workout when you need that extra push.

5. Work Hard, Then Rest

Rest is just as important as your workouts. After your 30-minute session, take pride in knowing you've accomplished something challenging. Our intense workouts deliver maximum results in less time, so you don’t have to spend all day in the gym. Allow yourself time to recover between sessions to prepare for the next sweat sesh. As you get used to the intensity, you can add more workouts per week, but always include at least one rest day for recovery.

6. We Have Our Own Language

During your first session, you might hear some unfamiliar terms. Like many fitness programs, we have a unique culture and lingo. Don’t hesitate to ask your trainer to clarify any terms you don't recognize. Keep coming back, and soon you’ll be fluent in 9Round speak.

7. Unique Equipment

When you visit a 9Round studio, you'll notice some equipment you won’t find in a typical gym. Since we specialize in kickboxing fitness, you’ll use traditional kickboxing bags and equipment. 8. Expect Some Soreness

If it’s been a while since you last worked out, you might feel sore after your first session—this is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). It’s normal to experience this within 12 to 24 hours of your workout, and it may last up to 72 hours. Help your body recover by staying active with light to moderate activities and keeping hydrated.
