But we promise our Boxing fitness classes are a safe space for all to come along and learn the art of boxing.
Classes are taken by Josh, Dominic, Kate and Phoenix and we understands how important a tool exercise is to feel good & function better.
Suitable for All levels of fitness & ability, we do a mixture of technique, bag work, pad work, strength & conditioning, based off how we train our fighters, and always some abs at the end!
And you go to the best of your ability. We have built up an awesome community of ladies and mums that bring their young kids along & really cheer each other on each session before collapsing into a sweaty mess at the end!
It’s simple really, our Boxing fitness classes provide the BEST cross training you can get for sports conditioning, or for every day health and fitness gains! Run in our gym on 209 Madras Street They predominantly feature punching and boxing padwork drills, a bit of bag work, as well as a few body weight exercises, kettlebells, battle ropes, medicine balls etc.
Just about anybody! Our classes are structured in such a way that both the new and advance client are catered for, meaning no one misses out. How awesome is that?
You just need a positive attitude towards trying new things and be prepared to enjoy yourself. We also do our best to accommodate those with a few niggles so please don't be afraid to ask about coming to a class if you are carrying an injury.
The classes are best suited to 17 years old and up but if you are a parent and youth combo who want to come and train together, again, please inquire.
The most important thing is the desire to take the first step and crack on with it. Don't plan to start next week, start NOW and strike while the iron is hot.
Putting it off realistically means it's not going to happen so don't wait, act NOW. We have gloves you can borrow to get yourself started but we recommend you purchase your own as soon as possible. We have a wide range of gloves for sale at the gym, please ask.
